March 12, 2010Nothing is final, but it appears Major League Soccer has taken another step toward a work stoppage. After months of negotiations with the league, the players voted Thursday to authorize the first strike in MLS history, provided the two sides fail to reach a new collective-bargaining agreement by the time the new season begins on March 25.
